Ambassador Hotel - Singapore Airport

Anyone stayed at Crown Plaza Hotel for a full 24 hours..... what happens if you wanted to go bk into Airport (for instance a swim, look around shops etc) then bk to Hotel etc before checking out? ....

I have stayed at the Crown Plaza. It has a pool. To stay there you have to pass through immigration etc as it is actually on the non transit side of the airport. It was comfortable, the buffet breakfast was good. The room was spacious with a nice big deep bathTo use the transit facilities in Changi you would have to go through all the palaver of queuing through immigration and have a boarding pass etc. There are places to eat and a few shops on the non transit side. You could also get the fast clean metro into Singapore, takes about 20 mins and costs not much and have a stroll around. If you went to Clarke Quay there are lovely places to eat and drink on the river, all nicely lit up at night. Depending on the time of your flight you may also be able to have a late checkout, but they will at least hold your bags.

Not sure if you're confusing 2 hotels. The Crowne Plaza is land side so you will have to pass through security to get there and back through security when you catch your next flight.

The Ambassador hotel is the Transit hotel which is airside meaning you are staying in the airport and do not go through security.

Can recommend the transit hotel but they only tend to book slots of 6 hours. Not tried the Crowne Plaza.

We stayed at Ambassador transit hotel for 12 hrs & it's great as we don't need to get out of the immigration. We just have our hand luggage & it's perfect,lots of entertainment in the airport.Free kinect,ps3, & even movies!Also there's a rooftop swimming pool in terminal 1 you can use for free if you show them your room key?gym is also free to use when you stay.We didn't bother with either of those,my kids are happy with the play area & the entertainment deck.lots of places to eat & open 24 hrs. Beds are comfy & we had a good rest,love it!!!
