My Mother's Death

There is no easy way to say this.

My beloved Mother died, on Friday 19 October 2012, in Perth, WA, where she had been living since October 2006, on a Contributory Parent visa subclass 143.

I would ask that everyone justs holds fire whilst I work out what to do next.

Gill.

2012 instead of 2102, which is some way off as yet!

Oh Gill you poor thing, you must be feeling so lost at the moment. I have vicariously followed your mother's story through your many posts, she sounds like she was an amazing and inspiring woman, and must have been so very, very proud of you.

My thoughts are with you and your family as you deal with this sad event and the loss of your loved one.

So very sorry to hear your sad news Gill. I almost feel like I know your mother after following your many stories on Poms In Oz, and more recently Poms In Adelaide.

Very best wishes to you and your family,

Kazza xx

Diane: You have echoed my own thoughts exactly. Poor Gill will be in bits at the loss of her darling mum. It's always been abundantly clear how much she loved her. So very sad. My heart goes out to Gill, who gives hers so freely to help other people. xx
