Recommendation needed...Please help

Hi Friends,

 

We two friends(female) are landing in Adelaide in the mid of February 2013 with a PR visa.

No relatives or friends are available for us to guide in Adelaide.

 

Hence not sure what sort of accommodation will be fine and safe for us. As we are coming with limited money, of course we will be

very happy if we get a good & safe accommodation in an affordable price.

 

I sincerely request our forum to please help us in this positively.

Check the Accommodation Available section for listings for short term fully furnished rentals let by some of our members and also lease breaks for longer term. And others will be along hopefully to give you some more pointers outside of this.

Hi there - those dates are pretty busy "tourist" dates with the Festival & Fringe Festival and Clipsal all coming up between January to end of March. Many of the accommodations will be quite expensive due to the peak season and especially the ones closer to the city. As Snifter says there are a few forum members on this site who have great accommodation in the accommodation available section here's a link http://www.pomsinadelaide.com/forum/accommodation-available/ On that link there are quite a few that are "breaking leases" of existing long term rental homes that are usually unfurnished. You will need to look for the ones that have Furnished Rentals available.

 

There is also another site that one of the members on here "Ali" has recently used and seems to be happy with. It is http://www.airbnb.com.au . It looks like it is a set up where you can stay in a "share" type situation with the owners of the properties and you can see the reviews of other tourists who have stayed there.
