Custom charges

    Recommended Posts

    Hi there,

was hoping someone can help we are just deciding between shippers John mason or crown, crown add a fee on theirs which covers the custom charge getting our belongings into Australia which is about $465 or £310, we are taking sofas beds etc, outdoor things will only really be bikes! And a tent! We are filling a 20ft container.

from your experience is that a Good deal or could the custom charge be a lot less/more??

Your feedback would be really appreciated

    thanks loads kerry&scott.

DAFF have a page which may help you. The fees are accessed by a link. These appear not to be customs charges, but border security charges, which is what I think you mean:

If it helps we used John Mason and their partners in Adelaide are Wridgways. They have just sent us our customs bill for $528 (£350) for a sole use 20ft container. can thoroughly recommnend John Mason though.

    Hi all,

I will have a few boxes, not a full container shipped LCL, something around 300 kg and 1,5 m3, so there I will be needed custom clearance services. Should I get in contact with the recommended John Mason, or there are any other recommendations?

    Thanks,

    dns
