Outdoor swimming pools you can spend the day at?

Does Adelaide have any outdoor pools with shaded areas, seating, BBQ's etc like some of the other cities have? The sort of place you could spend the day at?

Have a look at Marion outdoor pool. We sometimes go there in the summer and always have a great day

Nice one at Burnside, but the best for me is at Ridgehaven near Tea Tree Gully.

Yep there are quite a few. Marion, Unley, Burnside, Ridgehaven to name a few. All very nice!

Definitely recommend water world up at tea tree gully - love it there and well worth the trip

Would not want to spend any time at any of them at this time of year. I think Marion outdoor pool is open from October to March, we have not been yet but plan to go this summer.

Also just a note when googling pools in Aus - often they are listed online/in phone books as Aquatic Centres - not always swimming pools/baths.
