Midnight Juggernauts, highly under rated...............Through some of the chorus the lead sounds like Bowie.

    Yep, bit easy for me.

I'm a massive fan of Electronica.

Good to see an upsurge here in Oz.

Not Aussie but this track from the Mighty Brian Eno ( with axeman Robert Fripp on guitar) is what started it for me............

My daughter was chatting to The Kin after their recent gig supporting Pink - so that's what we've had on in the car. You'll have to find your own youtube link though, but give it a try, well worth it. Awesome drumming technique too...

What a good idead for a thread.

A great band from the 90s, Silverchair. They were only 15 when they recorded this and it still sounds good today.

Current faves from Adelaide, Sia and the Hilltop Hoods

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nodvVcchziU

An old classic Love is in the Air

It should include some aboriginal music, there are some great bands who don't get much airplay, this is the Warumpi Band from the 90s

I know this isn't totally Australian, but Sia is from Adelaide

I suppose I should give an honourable mention to Bernard Fanning as I'll be watching him at the Kuranda Amphitheatre in a couple of weeks

I was having a discussion in the pub the other night around 'has Australia ever produced a bona fide rock star'? We came to the consensus that it has, just the one mind - Michael Hutchence
