G'day All,

I have decided to finally register to prevent my better half :biglaugh: (ali@51) appearing to have a split personality.

After 16 months of planning, the day of my departure is almost upon us. I leave from Manchester on Friday for 5 weeks of hard graft on my own searching for employment, a car, permament housing, schools and a church. As we speak Ali is doing the fandango around the lounge at the prosepect of 5 weeks peace (not) on her own with 3 children and a Fiat Punto (the Kia Sedona having just sailed into the sunset to Scotland).

After all the goodbyes I am starting to feel the onset of mild hysteria - whether this is the effects of Newcastle winning 3 games in a row, the prospect of actually completing my enormous to do list or the sheer terror of what we are doing no-one (least myself) can actually tell!

I will endeavour to let everyone know my impressions of Adelaide once I get there however please be aware they will be those of a middle aged man with 3 kids allowed out on his own in a foreign country for 5 whole weeks !!!

Best of luck Morgan. You are not the first to go ahead and make it all a smooth transition for your family. I'm sure things will be fine. Not sure I should mention this but you can actually buy a house in 28 days! Would the OH allow you to do that I wonder, :biglaugh:

Let us all know how you get on, plenty of libraries have free Internet access, so they'll be no excuse!

Sensible I'd say. ;) I don't thnk I could talk Tracey in flying out with the little Djangos on her own somehow. I don't know how you managed it Morgan :confused:but well done. :D

Good luck with mission 'find a life'.

Good luck Morgan. Hope everything goes well. I would like someone to go on ahead to try and sort a few things - but like the others, I could not take the journey there alone with the children!! :nah:

Its was difficult enough last time we went (without the children) staying sane after those long hours travelling!!

Let us know how you get on over on the sunny side :)

Hazel.
