You have to pay an amount towards schooling in Adelaide but not sure how much as our daughter is only 4. Think it amounts to a few hundred dollars per year but someone in Adelaide should be able to help more with this.

Once they are 4 you are entitled to 4 sessions at Kindergarten per week but before this you would have to pay for daily childcare.

    Welcome Gaz&Jo :)

Use Lisas web link to Adelaidebound - its fab & will be able to help answer some of your questions :)

From research there is a good choice of state & private education - certainly better than the UK fees (IMO)

    Good luck

    Hi

We enrolled our 2 daughters in mount barker high school and it cost us $650 the other thing that is different from the uk is that none of their exercise books are provided by the school you have to buy them your self.

I dont know if every school charges the same but my friend has 2 boys in primary school and says she paid about the same.

hope this helps also private education is a lot cheaper here than the uk.

    cheers Hayls
