What is going on with UK's weather at the moment? Rain rain and rain = flooding and misery for many poor people.

Going to be busy with work for next few months as my job specialises in repairing damage such as flooding:arghh:

Hate to tell you that it was raining over here yesterday too. Quite a downpour where I live. And I felt cold too......but I do have a cold in the middle of summer  I am sure it is no where near as bad as where you are but we also had some hefty winds a few weeks back that caused quite a bit of damage.

This is only year 2 for us but this spring and summer seems less sunny and cooler overall than last year. Guess weather bounces about wherever you are.

And just now I felt a minor quake.....a split second and the windows and door frame shook....perhaps I am hallucinating? My cat looked at the window frame too so there must have been something..

No you are not imagining it Toni!

Yep, there are good and bad springs and summers in Adelaide (I've seen more than 20 of them). I have really noticed this year that when the weather swings round to the South, it's pretty cold, even throughout December, which is unusual if not unheard of.

Maybe the next week will redress the balance! http://www.bom.gov.au/sa/forecasts/adelaide.shtml
