furnished accomodation needed for 9 days as container delayed!!!

Hi

 

I just wondered if anyone can help. We are currently staying in short term rented accommodation whilst waiting for our container to arrive. It was supposed to get here on 2nd Feb, then 14th Feb now 22nd Feb and we have been told we wont get it until 7-10th March.

 

The problem is we need to be out of our accommodation by 26th Feb at the lastest so need to find somewhere else to stay for a couple of weeks.

 

My boys go to school in Woodcroft so anywhere in driving distance would be great - hallett cove, port Noarlunga etc. We need accommodation for 6 of us. 2 adults and 4 children.

 

I am going to ring around the campsites later today, but this is not really ideal if I can get something else.

Have your tried the Woodcroft Caravan park?? very nice people run it sure they could sort something for you, its in easy distance to the woodcroft school as we stayed there for a bit and attended the school xx they have lots of different cabins there all fully furnished

Hi Emma,

Sorry to hear that you still don't have your container. You've been here 12 weeks already so that's quite a delay. A number of other guests have also had delays but perhaps it's a seasonal or weather related issue? A lot of people have been "camping" out in their unfurnished rentals with odds and sods to get them through until things arrive.

I did get your email today. It's a busy part of the year with festivals, Clipsal and holiday bookings but if I hear of anything I will let you know.
