Yep,as Claire says ,until the lease is signed you have options.

I often see newly arrived apply for more than one long term rental.

Just be fair to the agents and let them know if you are going to decline the accepted offer.

Most of the ones we applied for recently stated that by applying you were agreeing to take on that property and would be liable for re advertising costs if you were offered the property and changed your mind.

So read what you are filling in.

 

As most of them don't get back to you once we were offered a place we emailed others to say we withdrew our applications. So if they then offered them to us we had got in first.
