Hello All. I am new to this forum. I am looking to move to Australia soon, I have lodged a skills assesment with the ACS and I am awaiting the results.

 

I am currently an IT manager for a company in Scotland with 3 sites and over 100 staff members.

 

I look forward to discussions in the future.

Hello Barry. Thanks for replying so soon. You should be OK with your skills.

 

I haven't used an agent, I thought that I would just try it myself.

 

I think that I will hear in about 6 weeks, I sent all of my documentation but they asked for my Diploma, so that took 2 and half weeks to order it and get it back to them.

 

Did you use an agent?

Took Edxecel 4 weeks to print a new copy of my HNC

 

I used a guy called Peter Chiam in Sydney as an agent, he specialises in the ACS, to be honest, now i know what was involved i could have done it myself! but i guess its that knowledge i am paying for, also he is not expensive compared to some, about £1100 for the whole thing plus all the normal fees. Also I first contacted an agent in manchester and they said i could only go for a 475 visa, however, after a few emails back and forth from peter i realised i could get a 175 visa, so for me he was worth his weight in gold
