Blimey - I just had a look, picked random dates for May/June and for 5 of us it came back with a total price of just over $8,000. Not bad - if only my aunt would hurry up and choose her wedding date it might not be the impossibility we thought it was.

qantus early birds are out now too. We just booked with them for a trip next may/june. It uses the emirates flights, but I have qantus points so get the best of both worlds :-)

We love the quick stopover in Dubai......I just want to get there once I'm on the plane.

Just a heads-up guys, I got my best price for fare to UK from 'bestjet' about $150 below the airlines on-line price. I then went down to Flight Centre and got there price beat promise, $1 lower than bestjet and matched their no credit card fee too!

Apologies to okmorris from this forum, she is a trusted travel agent should you wish to book through an agent.

Do Singapore Airlines do cheap fares to Singapore itself? Every time I check its about £900 for a return from Adelaide to Singapore alone!?!

Use air asia, we paid $800 return for 2 of us and they were excellent.

Hey Jimmyskinner, what was the max baggage limit in Air asia ?

You pay extra for various baggage limits - have a look on their site, you can go through and make a dummy booking all the way up to the payment page so you can see what the extras are.
