Hi all its been a while since I was here. Quite rude I guess since this was the site that got me contact with the employer who got me my 457 and is now looking at 186 transitional stream.... My apologies :D

 

As the thread title says, Has anyone here ever filled out the application for this visa themselves? I've started looking at forms and certificates I need. I'm under the impression as a 457 holder I don't need to provide the birth certificates, proof of defacto relationship etc. But I'll need police certificates from Australia and UK, and medicals carried out.

 

Thats all the straight forward stuff, but as my work has asked me to investigate the visa are there any pitfalls along the way or difficult parts of the visa? If anyone done it themselves advice would be appreciated. Even if anyone's paid an agent a price would be good, so I can report back.

 

Where can I get the medical carried out in Adelaide?
