    Hi all,

I would like to know something. Are they so restricted with conditions of visa190?

I have PhD from SA and 5 years overseas ex.this gives me 70 point with age.

Could I apply to visa190 without four 7s our 7.5 overal in ilets?

I don't have work now in SA.

I tried to this score but in vain.

Should I apply with my points to visa 190 and give a try?

Or no point to do so.

I am thinking to go to Tasmania instead. Plz help

    Thanks

Ameer I think you have to fulfil the conditions stated in your letter of invitation. There is nothing to stop anyone applying for any visa they want to but if you do not meet the requirements for that visa (which you wouldn't if you do not fulfil the conditions in your invitation) your application will likely be refused. Don't forget if you send an application and it is refused you Do Not get you fee refunded.

Your post does not describe your circumstances well enough for a professional opinion to be offered.

I suggest you consult a registered migration agent for an assessment.

    Dear Claire,

    Thanks for your reply.

But, I do not need any more point from state but I do like to be nominated to fast the process. The Federal one takes over 15 months (Visa 189) while Visa 190 takes from 3 to 5 months.

At the same time I dont want to lose Money.

You suggest to not apply for it. Maybe I apply for different state like Tasmania.

    Thanks
