    We are a long standing South Australian independently owned business that is wellestablished and has built a solid reputation for providing professional car service and repairs. A Motor Mechanic is requiredto join this dynamic team with modern facilities in an air conditioned workshop. The right applicant will be offered an RSMS.

    If you are looking to build on your current experience in the automotive industry,this could be the role you have been looking for. We have a strong team of specialists that combine to provide first class service. We have a wonderful opportunity to join a well known organisationin Adelaide's Eastern Suburbs.

     

    As a Mechanic/Automotive Technician you will be responsible for:

    * Performing quality maintenance and repairs

    * Ensuring Job records are accurate

    * Fault Diagnosis with Scan tools

    * Providing accurate information to clients and office staff

    * Ensuring commitment and compliance to WHS- Work Health and Safety

    The successful applicant must demonstrate the ability to:

    * Hold a current Trade Certificate or equivalent

    * Hold a current/valid drivers licence

    * Maintain excellent diagnostic skills

    * To work well autonomously as well as part of a team

    * Demonstrate organisational abilities

    Desirable Qualities

    · Have a minimum of 4 years post qualified experience

    · Experienceworking on Audi, VW and Mercedes Vehicles

    · Experienced withScan Tool Diagnostics

    · Excellent fault finding & trouble shooting skills

    · Air Conditioning - able to diagnose and repair faults

    Just a thought, but I believe that unless someone is Arctick certified they wouldn't be able to touch an air con system until their skill in that area has been recognised. You probably already knew this but better safe than sorry.

    Cheers for that, yes I am aware of that but what I'm looking for is someone that has some experience with A/C.

    We would get them licensed.
