help for nurse needing visa

    Recommended Posts

    Hello everyone,

My name is Kay. I am a 53 year old registered nursed. My experience is in elderly and end of life/palliative care and community nursing.

My partner is 46 and a builder.

Does anyone have any advice how I could obtain a visa? I know I might be too old for some but does anyone have any advice how there could be a way to get in?

I would appreciate any advice and help.

I am currently in Adelaide visiting family so am willing to meet or drive anywhere etc for advice.

Thanks so much for your time.

    Kay.

The usual cutoff age for General Skilled Migration is 50. Exceptions are made, particulary for medical professionals who are willing to 'go bush'. May I suggest that you and your husband consult a registered migration agent for advice about developing a visa strategy. Be wary of prospective employers who promise to sponsor for PR in due course.
