Hi,

 

We are on PR visa status and living in Adelaide from last 6 months. We wish to have our parents live with us. If they come here on visitor visa and during their stay in Adelaide, can we file there 804(NC parent visa)? If yes, will they be granted bridging visa for their stay until their 804 is granted?

 

Can they travel outside Australia during their bridging visa?

Unless it's changed recently you have to have lived here as a PR for two years for them to apply.

 

Once they can apply then yes they can do that. The bridging visa doesn't allow for travel, but you can apply for a different one which does, but it's not a case of just being able to pop away whenever you like.
