I know from speaking to property managers that repair / handymen are in desperate supply in some areas. I recently passed on some details of a joiner who stayed with me and he has been loaded with work.

This may sound a bit odd...but what social clubs do you frequent? Very typical of the Adelaide jobs scene but I know a lot of tradies who are members of golf clubs have secured plenty of work trough this network. As the network builds they have gone from project to project.

There were a number of people posting on here who were in the building trade. A search of previous treads might be useful.
