Moving to other state

Hi,

I have submitted my 887 application on 17-Oct. I have already fulfilled my living in SA for 2 years. Can I move to other state already or I have to wait till the PR to be approved then I can move to other state?

There is no binding, moral or legal obligation to stay, you can move as soon as you practically can.

This is wrong. The OP will be on a visa (can't remember the number now) that does have a legally binding condition to stay liviing and working in a regional area, and may even specify SA as a condition.

OP - I can't remember the rules regarding this visa although I'm pretty sure it has been discussed a few times in the 887 visa thread, which I suspect is where you meant to ask this question. Have a look at the thread see if you can see where it has been asked before.

OP you might want to look at post number 11757 on page 1176 of the 887 visa thread. The post is in response to pretty much the same question you have asked on here. The person replying seems to think that people on the regional visa applying for the 887 have to stay in the regional area until the 887 is granted.
