Will these items work

Hi,

Can anybody tell us if these will work in Oz, or should we sell them prior to coming?

BT Freestyle 3500 digital cordless phones set of four.

Netgear wirless router.

 

Both not very old so we would really like to bring them as it will be a couple of things less to buy when we arrive.

The netgear wireless router should be just fine - I'm guessing you have either the DG834G or GT? The phones should work fine. I say should as I have 2 wired BT Converse phones which simply don't produce a dial tone - and I've tried around 5 or 6 cables - but my trusty Ericsson DT200 DECT wireless phones work perfectly.

 

If you've room, bring them - if you don't you'll only end up giving them away - if you do, and they don't work, there's bound to be somebody heading back to the UK who will take them off you.

Thanks for that, it's a DG834PN but I would imagine they are the same.

The PN may well signify an N class router, which means it's newer - should be fine.
