Some one from the agent said that people receive the phone calls for immi are the people answer for ATO and Mygov tax call centre as well. They know nothing. We should lodge complaints. It works better.

Yeah calling is pointless

Hi Everyone

I have applied my 887 visa and I am waiting form last 9 months.

I have uploaded my wife's IELTS  certificate but they expired at the time of lodgement of my application; when I say expired, I mean they are older then 2+ years. I think DIBP is asking for wife's English certificate according to previous post in this group.

My wife completed her degree overseas and she is living in Australia from last 2+ years. Now should I book my wife's PTE/IELTS test again or should we ask her university for some sort or letter which states that her education was in English?

Would really appreciate if someone please share some views.

Regards

have you lodged a compliant  ? 19 months is too long. Moreover, the processing time has reduced to 17 months which means your case will be on top priority ( Unless your case has some complications )..

Complaints made and mine a little complicated as one of my sons had to go back to home country for 2 years National Service. Son will be back in Australia for 10 days in August on his annual leave. Received their reply that they hv noted his August arrival date and asked us to inform them when my son is onshore. Does it sound like a pre-grant? They did not mention the word "pre-grant" so will be keeping my fingers crossed. As 887 is an onshore application, if I don't get it in August, I might have to wait for a very long time as my 2nd son will be going back to home country for National Service end of this year and eldest son won't be back till Feb 2020.  It will be 2022 before I hv all in Australia at the same time.

Yes you may book for your wife because functional English is valid for only 1 year and competent is valid for 2 years.

Cel you must write a proper complaint to the right complaints department on line, forget ringing them is doesn’t work.

We heard back within 4 days with our grants.

You’ve gone over the waiting time so they have to listen.

Good luck 🤞

What is Right complaint department?

Hi Guys, Is it important to attach form 80 for 887?
Also what other form is recommended to attach?
Thanks

Yes, it is necessary to attach form 80.

It is also good to attach form 1221 and a personal character declaration (as attached).

There may be some other forms depending on your case. I know that if you served in the army in the home country, immi may ask for form 1399. 🙂

@Russki

My wife served in para military forces but she was in medical department directly in touch with patients. She quit her Job before came to Australia. Does she need to fill these forms which you mentioned or there is more forms she needs to fill.

Please suggest.
Thanks
