Hi Grace, did you submit IELTS result? It's only valid for 1 year as far as I understand. . That could be the reason?

My spouse has two master degrees with medium of instruction English.I submitted the documents showing the same and  its award as well. Still they asked the english language requirement.  So I uploaded the same documents again.

I am still confused why they asked the evidence for english ?

AFP was  renewed and Uploaded  before expiry.

Hi Kmonga09

She did Master degree in Australia. So we submitted her academic record instead of English result.

Fantastic, congrats. It just goes to show that the 14 month mark is generally when grants are given, if all docs are updated ofcourse

stellajane ..did you submit spouse english test ? PTE or IELTS

IELTS please see my post below from yesterday.

Hi there, if your IELTS test is still valid on the day you apply for your 887 it is fine. Doesn’t matter if it expires when you’re waiting for your grant.

Our IELTS tests, which were ‘competent English’ and therefore valid for 3 years, expired exactly 1 day after we applied for our 887.

I was really worried that they would ask my husband to redo the IELTS test as it was only valid for 1 more day when we applied. But they did approve it, luckily.

It can be valid either on or after you applied, as long as it did not expire before you applied.
