887 Visa - What's the update?

I have sent to all the MP’s which is mentioned in the Migration solution email. I have sent the same template to my local MP. She replied me. I attached image

Send emails to your local MP as well. Just google “ place where you’re living and MP” just send them email too.

sigh..give them a week and see how it goes, they will not respond promptly. If next week we still don’t hear anything, maybe we can ask Mark to talk to the media on behalf of us as people sending hundreds of complaints and still no one listen. But let’s hope they will action our request this time, keep sending emails and don’t give up

Guys this is really a good move so please let contact other people who are not  in forum or even 489 visa holder to send email. If time comes down every one will be benefited especially one who just applied 887 or going to apply soon. Cheers

Another update from Alan Tudge today but nothing new, there are a few Indian journalists asked questions about visas but unfortunately not mentioning anything about 887 :(

Done. We need everyone to send email. Guys please this time do not wait for others, send your email first...... It will take only 15 to 30 mints but your 887 grant could earlier than you expected.

But now they make it illegal for people to get together in public because of social distancing and covid 19, so it’s not possible to do that now :(

We can probably also send emails to Multicultural media as well because Alan Tudge held regular meeting with them every month. If you go to Alan Tudge YouTube channel he had a meeting with them on 30th March and another one today, maybe they can ask why 887 is delay during Q&A sections...this is their email : media@multicultural.nsw.gov.au

Hi all,

I am a silent follower and wanted to tell you that it’s really great to see you working towards this as a team – the progress you have done in the last few weeks is amazing!!           

The delays with the processing times are unacceptable! They have no problem with taking (a lot of) money from us for the visas and also from the taxes we pay, but we get NOTHING in return! After everything that we have done to come here, we get a ‘maybe it is time to go home’ – this is just disrespectful!!!

The processing times should be around 6 months – more than enough time to check a few documents. NEVER in life 24-28 months!!

Keep it up guys, you’re doing great!!!

This is our last chance. I am grateful we have Mark to help us, we can never find another agent that willing to work on half of us on this processing time issue. We do our best this time, hope someone will finally listen.

I have made several complaints one on average every month and been stubborn
