Quick & Urgent Advise Required Regarding Police Clearance

Dear All 

Appreciate if someone can Respond Immediately. 

we as family landed in Australia 3Jan 2017

before that we have been living in Dubai & Pakistan . 

We have Police clearance from dubai in Sept 2017 & April 2018. 

And same we have police clearance from pakistan in 2018. 

 

Today Case office contacted us to produce new  police certificate in next 28 days. 

I have contacted back there . All government offices are closed and i cant get it in next 1 month in anyways. 

What you reckon 

1. Should i tell the case officer that i cant get police report in next 28 days . so please extend the time 

2. Should i tell since i never travelled abroad since the date of last police report  so i don't need police report.

It says in the letter I received (for more documentation) that "If you cannot give us the information on time for some other reason, attach a letter to your application in ImmiAccount explaining the reason. We might let you have more time to give us the information if you cannot get it to us on time for reasons beyond your control"

So I would write and give them both of the above explanations / reasons !!

I think:

 

1. apply for both the Police Clearances ASAP.

 

2. Inform the CO after 2-3 weeks about the situation and ask for more time.

Applied in Nov 2018, still waiting for grant. Not even first contact. I just called immi a lady said she couldn’t verify your guys grants are genius. And just let me wait. So hopeless and frustrated. Complained but got general reply. What can I do?
