Are you sure it's Tony Burke? I remember last time during the citizenship changes discussions, one of my colleagues lodged a complaint to Peter Dutton, the minister of Home Affairs. He asked me too to do a complaint. I saw in Home affairs website also we can lodge complaints online, but don't know how long they take to read those.

Hi Bunny and Marry,

I have been having nightmares about it for the past week. :) Let's try not to worry, we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.

The best thing to do is to go into your immi application and to  look at it through the eyes of an immigration officer... Is it laid out well? Is all your evidence there? Do all the facts and dates in the application add up? If you think something is missing - attach extra proof.

I found some good tips here, just general visa application advice, pretty good:

Finally, i received my daughter’s 489 grant letter today. Now I can arrange her health examination for visa 887 in advance... Really really appreciate your help! And all the best wishes!

Hi Sharky, good you got daughter 489 visa.  Can I know you already applied 887 and when did you applied? Thanks

Thanks Tsep,

No, not yet. I’m going to finish my daughter’s health examination first, then come up with the application. Besides, I need a latest utility bill as solid proof for residency.  It will be early March.
