We have been trying to get to oz for over a year ! We have now been told we can get state sponsered in Adelaide. My husbands occupation is a telephone/data/fibre optic engineer. Could anyone help us as to where to look for work or any indications on wages. The only other option we have is Perth sponsered on Aud 44k is (this is not doing his current line of work) could we even live on that money. Me Dave and little boy oliver? Help am now so confused as to which way to go for the best am being to doubt if making right decision at all !

Hi Bridget, sorry I can't answer your questions, but I've bumped your post up as it seems to have been buried. Hopefully someone can point you in the right directions. I would say however that $44K is not very much but then Aussie wages are much lower than UK wages.
