Health Requirements

Hi

 

My brother in law has a history of skin cancer (it's fine now, all gone...) but we were wondering whether this is likely to affect their temporary visa application when the medicals get done? Has anyone had any experience of this, or know what the requirements are with this kind of thing??

I think I read somewhere you have had to be free of cancer for 3 years - I think!

A friend of mine was successful in obtaining a visa following breast cancer and is now living in Perth. I think they started the application a couple of years after initial diagnosis - its now probably 4 years since that date.
