Just started visa 175

Hi - We have just started our application visa 175. Colin has been a carpenter for 12 years and we have finally made our minds up to go!!! Is it easy to find a carpentry job in adeliade, never been here but made our choice, this is where we want to live:)

We have never been before so you are not alone in this. We will be making the big trip in the next few months and see Adelaide in the flesh so to speak for the first time then. I hope we like it coz we ain't coming back.

 

Good luck with the visa. There are others on here that have done the same skill assessment so you won't be without help.

Welcome to PIA - great place to get information and wonderful people (if I say so myself!).

 

My OH is a carpenter - has been for 20 years - we've just completed the paper based assessment and OH has his practical next month

 

We've never been to Adelaide either - so we're exactly the same. Like Pete says - once I'm there I aint coming back.
