Hi all

Got some good news this morning that I wanted to share with you. My OH future employer in Blackwood has asked us to go for a visit, after he has gained his AQF III in August and they are helping us out with the fares!! This is really good news for us, as we didn't want to spend any money on a reccie, we want to leave it in the bank for the actual move because we are on rather a tight budget!!!

Could anybody please tell me at what stage do you get meds done? Do we wait until requested to have them done and who do we approach, is it just our own GP?

Cheers guys, look forward to the replies!

Mandyx

I can't remember where to find the info but there is a select panel of docs around the UK who can do your meds. If your GP is one of them, fine but it is unlikely.

They cost...how much depends on where you go. We went to Harley Street as it was the only place we could get to on a Saturday and for four of us including xrays and blood tests etc it cost just under £800. In total, not each!!!

Try www.adelaidebound.com for links and info for this

Great, thanks for that. Will do some research on the net re the Doctor's. The price is lower than I thought, especially for Harley Street. Hoping we can get them done closer to home, we are about 10 miles south of Manchester so Harley St is out of the question!!

Could you get your meds done over here in August?

We had ours done for PR earlier this year and it was 'only' about $800...or so

If you could that would save you heaps!

Smith on John sreet they are on the list , Costs were about £700 for a family of 4 , including blood tests ,x.rays and everything , would recomend all done very quick and helpful. hope this helps. good luck, wayne n ouise :):)
