calling aspc

We tried calling the aspc this morning to see the status of our application, we have a case officer and we front loaded medicals and police checks but they requested further information which we sent on 25/07/08 and our status page hasn't changed so we wanted to see if they needed anything else but we kept getting cut off due to the high volumes of calls.

Does anyone know when is the best time to call? We started ringing at 6.45am until the offices closed at 7.45am.

Hi Vikki,

 

I've phoned a few times and it does take a long time to get through. On both occasions I've phoned at 5.30am....when you get cut off, keep re-dialing until eventually you'll get a place in a queue. It seems to take about half an hour from the first try at phoning until someone finally answers....just hang in there!!!

I phoned them several times whilst back in the UK. I had no problem getting through. I was calling them at 12:30 am (UK time) when they first opened. Don't know if that makes a difference?

I wasn't sure whether to call early or late (oz times) but i'll stay up and call them tonight.
