Shippers in Scotland?

Hi there,

 

I'm thinking of getting a quote to have all our stuff shipped over to Adelaide when the time arises. Can anyone recommend a shipper. I guess one that's based in Scotland would be best, but not sure if that really matters.

We moved from Perth at the end of last year. We got quotes from Anglo Pacific, Doree Bonner, Whites and another firm I can't remember.

 

I would get as many as possible to give quotes first off. We eventually went with Doree Bonner (I think they call themselves Express Removals). Service was fantastic, the guys were on time, cheerful and polite and more importantly nothing was broken!

 

The guy who comes to give the quote from Edinburgh was Steven who was a great guy (plus he dropped the price by £300!) deffo worth giving them a ring!

We got quotes from Anglo Pacific and Whites and decided to go with Anglo Pacific and so far they have been superb,our furniture left Edinburgh in a shared container on the 25th June and is due to arrive in Adelaide on the 21st September.

We used Whites - based in Dunfermline. Furniture arrived when expected with no problems. The company they used this end were very helpful as well.

Hi there,

 

Would you happen to have their number at all..or their website. I can only find a Whites based in Birmingham.

 

We had anglo-pacific in but they said we had too much stuff for 20 foot and not enough for 40 foot. I'm stunned that we have that much stuff as we don't have wardrobes in two of the bedrooms. We're in a 4 bed semi and I've seen people on here with same amount of rooms and ok with 20 foot. We're prepared to leave beds but still doesn't seem to make a difference. Hoping another quote might go our way

We used Meadows who have offices in Glasgow and Edinburgh, no hitches and people this end (grace) were also good.
