when we first arrived gouger rugs was closing down it took them 3 months to close, the next day barry solomon had sold his company, so gutted i missed my chance to buy a reduced rug, but never mind today ( a week after closing) ive seen the advert that the new owners now have 9000 rugs to liquidise, i wonder if the new owner will be a larry solomon:biglaugh:

that rug shop has been closing for about 20 yrs. That shop on the corner of Cross Rds and Marion rd that sells Indonesian type furniture has also been closing and reopening under another name for a while too.

Sounds a bit like Allied Carpets back in the UK. Their sale started on Jan 1st and ended Dec 31st I think!
