Hi

Well I think this will be my last post on here. We are now in Adelaide & really liike it, thankfully. I am working & my other (better half is on the job trail with a few promising contacts/leads, fingers crossed). Not long had full internet access so don't often get a chance to post or veiw whats going on. We have met some very nice people through this site so thankyou PIA!! However after visiting tonight I'm not a happy bunny & have decided not to participate anymore. Some of the post are really not very nice (after trawling through one that went on for 7/8 pages) people may say they are just offering support & advice to be honest if thats the sort of advise/support on offer I'dhave to say no thanks, I'm fine, I feel for the person who doesnt fit in to that clique (which probably incluudes me but hey), you may not feel that this is the case but if you look at it from the outside thats just how it appears....Honestly it does. Some just seem to think they know best dont read the original post or subsequent post etc etc I cld go on but mmmmm but I wont. To everyone here really hope it works for you, everyone trying, hope your dream comes true. So for those reason I have to say goodbye to PIA please try try to be nice in future

Sorry forgot to add yes I definately do interact with australians, we had exsisting ones in other states & now have made quite a few australian friends here in adelaide as well as a few english friends.

There are cliques that let you in & cliques that dont.

Good luck to all this most definately my final goodbye!

Hey, just watched Usain Bolt blitz the 200M world record! There's only one clique that I know of and that's the Poms in Adelaide (or about to be so, or hoping to be so, or dreaming of being so) clique - so let's hear it for Poms in Adelaide! (Oh, and don't forget to interact with those Aussies from time to time - they're really quite nice, including those of us who are now Anglo-Aussies). Now there's a clique to aspire to!

Louie, please tell your Mum not to give up on PIA because of people with strong opinions. We meet them all the time, in all walks of life, and we can only learn from the experience and hope to persuade others that tolerance is the biggest virtue of all. IMHO! Bill

Please don't leave just because of the last few days. This sort of things flares up from time to time as there are so many people with differing opinions and unfortunaltely it only take one person to stir trouble and it all goes to pot. After a few days it all will settle down and be back to the PIA that we know and love. :wubclub:

I am really pleased that you are enjoying your new life and whatever you deide, good luck for the future.
