Part time job wanted around school hours

If I don't ask then I won't know as my Mum keeps saying to me, so here goes.

I know that there are alot of mums out there in the same boat as me but does anyone know of any part time jobs available at the moment.

I am looking for something with in 20 minutes drive from Happy Valley. And it needs to be within the School hours.

So , OK I know I am not asking for much but I thought it was worth a go.

Try McDonalds at Reynella, probably not exactly what you want long term but they do take on 'mums' during the day.

You could try ringing some of the wineries near you i.e. Reynella, to see if they need any staff during the hours you need. Friends of mine have managed to get ad hoc work in the past helping with Cellar Door sales and in the tasting room at various wineries. I know it's a long shot but as you said 'if you don't ask you don't get'. I would be proactive and identify local businesses where you might like to work and give them a ring.

I tried them too and went through the online test, which I thought I had done okay in only to be told that they dont accept 496 visa holders only 495. I said it was the same criteria involved only 496 are sponsored by a relative, but alas it wasn't to be, I couldn't budge them.

 

But would be a great job for somebody with kids at school as I know the hours you do Jackie and it suits you brilliantly.

Hi Jackie,

They told me that I could not take any holiday for the first 6 months in my telephone interview and my Mum is coming out to Oz for 3 weeks in October and I did not want to spend that time working, but I will try again in November.

ask for contracting hours they are basically on call but get paid more loads of companies do it
