What time does it get dark in the summer?

Hi there,

 

Just wondering when the sun goes down in the summer...what time ..just roughly. I know it's early in Brisbane..about 6.30pm and then it's like someone switched the lights off..very very quick. Is it like that in Adelaide?

Dusk is about 20-30 mins and sun sets mid summer at around 8.30

LOL. I found that really strange too when I visited Cairns several years ago .... looked it up when we were thinking of Adelaide and was please to read it stayed lighter for longer at night. Time for beach after work

I would guess around 830 - 9 pm, as its this time in the summer you dont get to see much in the way of christmas lights on
