Outdoor play equipment?

    Recommended Posts

    Hi all,

I have been told different things by shipping compnanies. 2 said not to bother taking our Little Tikes slide and 2 said we should! How expensive is that kind of thing over there? I know the Cosy Coupe cars are quite dear out there so we are bringing that.

For some reason, when I go on the Toys R Us website, I can only see the baby catalogue, which doesn't have all the outdoor toys in. Does anyone else have this problem?

    Thanks!

    Jo xx

    Bring it all!!!!!!

You'd find it shockingly expensive to replace. Just give it a good clean to keep Quarantine off your back.

Although there are plenty of places to buy this kind of thing - if you have room in your container, definitely bring it all. We foolishly gave away so much stuff being overly concerned about spiders etc. Now we wish we had bought it all with us - as long as there is no mud on it, you will be fine. There is sooo much to spend your money on in the first few months, don't spend it on replacing stuff you already have.

    Hi all,

Promised my son a trampoline, ( well he saved with Christmas and Birthday money ).

Is it cheaper to buy here and ship, or buy in Adelaide?

Also any advice on Shippers from Manchester, please?

    Thanks,

Hi , Can you bring swings that are obviously rusty from being outside, I was told by shippers that anything rusty wasn't allowed in?

    thanks

    Hi

I would say bring it if you have room. Toys here don't seem to have the same standards as the UK. We bought my son a ride on toy and one of the wheels fell off after 2 weeks leaving a big spike exposed.

Thanks everyone. Guess I'll have to get it in, dry it out and clean it up. Got a cosy coupe coming too - all kids love them bloomin' things!!

    Hi there

Nice to meet you. I'm currently living in India. I have a plan to get settled in Adelaide, AUS. But, I guess it might take another one and a half year me to land there, as I've not even applied for my PR. I may initiate the process by the first week of this march.

Hope you enjoy staying in adelaide, This post is to initiate our friendship with an excellent business oppurtunity, to interest you.

I'm also working as a freelancing outsourcing consultant for contact centers and BPO's. As i saw that your hubby is working with a telecom company, I think that I can help you earn extra income on commission basis. I have contact with few contact center service providers here in India who can offer telemarketing service. Please feel free to write back if willing accept this deal.
