THE GAMEKEEPER, Newark Road, South Hykeham, Lincoln, LN6 9NH

(on the A46 Newark Road, Lincoln Bypass)

Pub has an outdoor play area and beer garden as well as an indoor activity play centre (Wacky Warehouse - we have one in Boston and our 2 children love it - has a charge of £2.50 but if it keeps them happy!!!:D) Meals are served all day every day at 2 for 1 - order 1 adult meal and get another 1 free - menu can be viewed online - yum yum.:o

If you type 'The Gamekeeper Lincoln' on your google search it will bring details of the pub up. Hope this is OK!

:P:p

Have you enough room for another couple of south coasters and there 2 kids?

We will spend the saturday up there at Alton Towers or Drayton Manor and then drive up to you on the Sunday. Be good to meet more of you in person

Have booked the campsite from Friday - Monday Pitch 8. Anyone on Friday/Saturday who's camping can join us for a Barbie, Aussie flag at the ready. OH praticing for the real thing. Only thing missing will be the roo burgers.

Kid's really excited about meeting up with everyone.

Hi everyone,

Ralphs booked us into the campsite today. The woman couldnt understand why she was filling up for that particular weekend.

We've decided to take the caravan instead of the tent though , and we've booked Sat and Sun night.

If the weathers nice she said we could extend the stay if there are any pitches free, so as its the school holls we might just do that!!

Were looking forward to meeting you all .

Bev n Ralph:)

Hi everyone

We have been to Lincoln today to look at the campsite and the pub.:D

Campsite - very nice, clean and tidy site. We have a 16man tent and more than enough room for it on the pitch sizes. Toilet and showers looked ok. Hartsholme park itself also very nice. Some lovely walks etc - and squirels running around the park.

Pub - The Gamekeeper - nice and friendly pub. Have reserved an area overlooking the park so its easy to keep an eye on all the children. The play area is suitable for most ages and appeared to be totally enclosed. The doors onto the play area are in the area of the pub I have reserved. The Wacky Warehouse - indoor play area - is £2.50 per child, they can go in and out as much as they want throughout the day.

Cannot have the area until 1.30pm though as they have a childrens party in until 1pm. Very inconsiderate of them.

Please - nobody try and walk from the pub to the campsite - it was just over 6 miles, :eek:along a busy bypass with no paths. Not good walking conditions. We'll be getting a taxi back to the campsite, think prices are quite reasonable.

Please ask if you need anymore info.

Sarah

Caravans and tents all in the same field, tents without electric hook up at the end of the field, the rest all together. Will look out for you on the saturday. We are going Friday as its only 45 mins away from us - making a great weekend of it.

Why not come over on the Saturday night.;)

We have travelled from Lincoln to just near Burton before, took just over 1 and a half hours, about 70 miles.

When we went to the Leeds meet the other week, it was over 100 miles but really worth it, a lovely day!:)
