Adelaide on the World Stage

With the Tour Downunder about to start this weekend, there is a lot of publicity and hype surrounding Lance Armstrong choosing this race to make his comeback, meaning Adelaide may well make it onto newspaper pages and TV screens around Europe and the World.

 

I see the 'Tiser is trying to get as many people as possible to turn out to watch the first section of the race held at Rymill Park this Sunday (I think it starts around 7:30pm) - dressed in something yellow (the colour of the Cancer Council in recognition of Lance's recovery from cancer, and work to raise funds and awareness).

 

We'll be there, should be a great atmosphere, and a chance to get up close to what really is a huge coup for sleepy Adelaide - let's show off to the World!
