Bunyip

Hi trying to see if I can catch anyone out, I've recently watched my daughter in a school play, where in part of the performance a young boy dressed as a bunyip came on the stage, does anyone know what it is the school teacher kindly explained it to me this morning.

A bunyip is a mythical creature or animal from Australian folklore....;)

There is a real bunyip in a cage on the riverbank in Murray Bridge. You have to put a dollar in a slot to make it appear. It's actually rather good.
