    Hi

Know we might be running before we can walk but, if we get PR does this entitle our son (who'll be 20 by the time we do if we do) to a place at Uni? Would he be able to access govt funding for such a place or do we (like in the Uk) have to totally fund his education at degree level.

Your advice as always would be most welcome

    Cheers

    Al

As a temporary resisdent you HAVE to pay INTERNATIONAL fees

As a permanent resisdent you HAVE to pay the same fees as a CITIZEN..but

As a citizen you get the chance to pay up front and save a % of the fees and get a HECS (student) loan

So if you are perm res you pay the same as a citizen but DONT get the % or loan.
