Does anyone know whether you are allowed to go self employed on a 475 Visa. Buying my own business is something i would be very interested in if possible.

Hi Covfan

I think you can. I have read somewhere else about this. What you need to have is "proof", and I think if you have a business it it will be more than enough as a proof.

 

I will have similar situation like you. When we in Adelaide, hopefully, next year, I will be working for an employer based outside Australia. I have asked my agent, and they said this will be qualified as work full time, for a requisite for permanent resident later.
