Not quite sure why.

Have you done as Suzer suggests - Poota's do get "clogged" up and need a laxative now and again.

Crapcleaner is a great program - does what it says. ( You MUST remember all of your passwords though!)

And it's free.

How about your antivirus and anti malware progs - up to date and done scans recently??

Advanced System Care is quick, free, and gets Editors top marks from CNET DOWNLOADS,i use it,and it is very good, crap cleaner is excellent,as said before, and you can delete from start up list any useless programs that are hogging the system.Cleaning out old unused programs helps also, and if the hard drive is almost full, you can get big capacity external hard drives which simply connect up by USB,and transfer all your data on to themAlso, you really need at least 1 gb of memory ,or your PC may well run slow, and if you exceed your download limits the supplier will penalise you with slower connection speed, this has recently happened to us.All the best,Billy.

We had a similar problem with our computer, we used this software, you get a free trial version for a month which should be enough to sort your problem out.

You could have a corrupt file which is using up a lot of your hard disk space and slowing your computer down, this does a registry clean up which did the trick for us. It also does what someone mentioned above which is help you get rid of things which you don't need and which run constantly slowing your computer down.
