our weekend move

Well it all started on Friday our moving day. It hammered down with rain for most of the day and nearly everything we owned got soaked.

Have 2 heaters in the house but unfortunately they didn't leave us any instructions so neither is working. One is a wood burner but the chimney appears blocked so nearly smoked us out.

The best thing though is that when we gave the kids a bath on Saturday, we emptied the bath and it flooded the bathroom and toilet. Today spent $300 on a plumber who air pressured the blockage out, firing my daughter's last night's dinner all over the ceiling. So today we have been cleaning up *#%@ from every part of the bathroom.

Other than that really glad to be back in our own house!.:err:

Are you sure you didn't have the film crews in for the next National Lampoon film :biglaugh:

Sorry, but that was very funny although I am sure at the time it was not in the least bit funny for you so I apologise for laughing :notworthy:

Think of it on the positive side, at least it was your daughters ***** and not from the last people - urghh!!!

Hope things start to get better now ;)

    Welcome to Onk Hills.

I'll keep my eye out for that very smoky chimney.

Look in Bunnings, there is some stuff called "Soot Away" or similar that can help clear soot.
