I've been emailing my dear friend back in the U.K since I've been here. I don't know about you guys but sometimes things are typed in, meaning one thing but read differently. We were having a joke about this and then she sent me this. Its called The Four Agreements. I don't know who it is by, all credit to them, its not my words.

I'd never seen it before but like the message it gives.

I thought I'd share it with you all. I admit its a little profound but sometimes its good to take a step back and take a good look at yourself and the way you come across to others.

The Four Agreements

Be impeccable with your words

Speak with integrity

Say only what you mean

Avoid using the word to speak

Against yourself

or to gossip about others.

Use the power of your word

in the direction of truth and love

Never take any thing personally

Nothing others do is because of you

What others say or do

Is a projection of their own reality

their dreams.

When you are immune to the opinions

And actions of others,

You will no longer

Be the victim of needless suffering

Never make assumptions

Find the courage to ask questions

And to express what you really want.

Communicate with others as clearly

As you can to avoid misunderstandings,

sadness and drama.

Always do your best

Your best is going to change

From moment to moment

It will be different when you are healthy

as opposed to sick.

Under any circumstances,

Simply do your best,

and you will avoid

Self judgement,

self-abuse and regret.
