Hi! Anyone know exactly what the "employment statement" is? A little confused, seems I need to get this from HR, is that right? Any help appreciated.

    Hi,

As I have worked for one department for the 3 years I have been qualified, my ward manager was able to confirm when I started, position, responsibilities etc so I didn't have to go to HR. If you have skills in various areas then the employment statement is just to confirm that you are working and what salary, hours etc you are currently employed as and HR may be your best bet. Your Line Manager will be able to give you the normal reference.

    Hope this helps. Jane
