Tool to jack up a porch?

    Recommended Posts

So we are digging out some old posts, for a portion of our porch which overhangs the ground (the rest is above a 1st floor room), and cementing them in, as they have settled too far down into the ground. Seems we need to hire something to hold up that section of the porch while we are doing it, but neither hubs or his builder bro know what we need or where to get it. Anyone else know (or do this type of work)?

There's a place on the junction where Grand Junction Road crosses North East Road that seems to hire our all sorts of stuff - might be a starting point to ask in there. Sorry, can't remember the name of it but it's a big place so will probably be fairly obvious when you're there!

    They're called acro props? Thanks!

yep they're called Acro Props (-or Agprops, as the Italians say)

Frankly if your builder hasn't heard of them, it might be worth looking for a new builder

You may be able to hire them from Bianco, or buy them from Total Tools in Lonsdale...:)
