110v tools

    Hi can anyone tell weather or not my 110v site power tools are ok for the Australian building sites please

    no one really uses them here and i know a few people that bought tools out but have now struggled to find a transformer. if youve got alot of 110v stuff then its probably worth bringing it anyway rather than buying all new tools. most people use battery stuff. i run all my tools of a generator.

    Yes it is. Just change the plug on the transformer to an aussie plug! You will need to get all tools tagged and tested every 3 months to work on most aussie sites. Have seen a few "poms" do the same. Must admit they stand out a mile:biglaugh:

     

    I brought all mine with me but lucky enough dont use them other than in the house
