rules shipping...can hubby bring some boxes of stella??

I say "NO".... but he wants me to find out!!! what are the rules for shipping goods out on the container?Can he put a few boxes of STELLA on our container without it causing problems?We need to settle this argument (lol)very quickly as our container will be taken away in 48 hours from our house!

You can bring alcohol as long as you declare it and then pay the appropriate tax on it when it gets here - dont think it would be worth it though to be honest.

We bought some cuban rum with us.. didn't have to pay any extra duty for it, we just declared it on the shipping form.

Hi, I think you have to declare it and you could get stung with the tax levy. My hubby wanted to bring his whisky collection, but it was going to cost us more than it was worth, sad day for Rich to wave it goodbye, happy days for his dad who enjoyed looking after it for him!!!

 

I suppose if you pack it with other stuff and wrap the boxes you might getaway with it, but is it really worth the risk when you can buy it here ($46 for 24) and get much better beer (TEDS) anyway?

We had a specific clause in our shipping contract that forbade liquid - I couldn't even bring a supply of my favourite moisturiser!! Check the small print......
