Well we have just received SS from SA:jiggy:and have lodged our 176 with DIAC,my OH is Wall and Floor Tiler which l think is Priority 2 but our agent reckons it will probably take 12-18months for visa,seems a long time!!Does anyone know if this is corrrect?

Congratulations on the SS.

No jobs are Cat 2 at the moment for SA as they have not yet released their SMP, so at present you are a Cat 3 and if your occupation is on the SMP when it is released you will then become a Cat 2.
